CoHo Winter Photoshoot Scouting Trip -
Saturday FEB 11 & Sunday FEB 12

Flexible 3-4 hours - ICE CLIMBING SCOUT [ 3 climbers needed ]

Scouting at Arathusa Falls and Frankenstein climbing areas. Goal is to explore the area and set up rappel (if necessary) for Josh to take photos of climbers. 2 climbers needed for models and 1 for camera belay.

Flexible 3-4 hours - HIKING SCOUT [at least 1 hiker needed]

Ascent up to Lion’s Head on Mt. Washington or Chocorua via ?

1-2 hours - NATURAL ICE SKATING SCOUT [1 other person needed]

Tamworth Lake / Lake Chocorua

1-2 hours - NORDIC SKIING SCOUT

Location scouting for nordic skiing.

Saturday Feb 25

BACKCOUNTRY SKIING on the SHERB
5am - 8am
Skiiers will ascend up the 2.5 mile Tuckerman’s Ravine trail to the start of the Sherburne trail and will ski down at Sunrise, 6:37, probably more like 6:50 with the hills as Josh photographs skiers with fresh alpenglow on the Mt. Washington ridgeline in the background.

NATURAL ICE SKATING at TAMWORTH LAKE
11am - 1pm
Skaters will flow across the frozen waters of Tamworth Lake beneath the rugged summit of Mt. Chocorua as the sun shines through the clouds from the southern sky.

ICE CLIMBING at ARATHUSA FALLS
4pm - 6pm Athletes will be ascending up brown or blue (or both) ice flows at Frankenstein / Arathusa Falls climbing area at sunset which is 5:37pm. Is there a sauna anywhere we can go after?

Sunday Feb 26

Hiking at Lion’s Head, Mt. Washington or Mt. Chocorua for Sunrise
4am - 8am-
Who care’s that we photographs 3 adventure sports the day before? Let’s get up for sunrise and do it again. Looking for rugged rocks, ice flows, and mountain level stoke here to bring the color out of the sunrise.

11am - 1pm : Nordic Skiing at ?
Skiers will be kicking and gliding on New Hampshire’s fresh coat of snow after we make a sacrifice to Ullr that will Protect Our Winters and ski seasons. Looking for location recommendations

2:30 - 6pm - Open for skiing, climbing, or skating if we don’t have proper clothing, energy levels, or safety concerns for other days.
