This is a 360 degree panorama of the view from the summit of Addison County’s highest point, Mt. Abraham (elev. 4006ft). The photo will be printed and able to spin so that viewers may be able to locate nearby labeled summits.

The Middlebury Gorge

One of Vermont’s most amazing geological gems

6 miles from the heart of downtown Middlebury beckons the Middlebury River. A two mile section, reaching more than 200+ft below the road, lies the BIrth Canal. These sacred waters have been explored by the Green Mountain Club in the late 1880s, again by a trip led in 1913, and rediscovered by kayakers in the late 1990s.

The project is a cultural nexus of what this place means to each person who has made connection with it.
